HP Propel 1.1, which become available on December 15th, delivers capabilities that expand usability and increase IT agility with the IT service catalog. Key new functionality includes:

·         Composite service bundles

·         Request on behalf

·         Enhanced dynamic options

·         SDK for HP Service Exchange

·         Automatic ticket routing to different ITSM systems, such as HP Service Manager, Jira, Bugzilla as well as email

·         New HP Service Exchange integrations with HP Service Anywhere and Jira

We also released HP Propel Jumpstart module, which can be downloaded from HP LiveNetwork HP Propel Jumpstart delivers new capabilities for generating Propel-enabled web applications. With HP Jumpstart, IT can easily extend their portal by developing new or by federating existing content through the portal. IT organizations that are pursuing the Service Broker path need unprecedented flexibility and customizability of their portal.  Most importantly, IT needs to quickly customize the portal experience. HP Propel Jumpstart generates web apps based on micro-services, and these apps include both server and UI. This is how Google, Facebook, Amazon and other most popular consumer sites build the applications and systems. The apps built by Jumpstart will inherit the experience that the Propel portal brings. Often, deep customizations block upgrades, but HP Propel Jumpstart includes dependency capabilities in generated apps so that the applications are insulated from upgrades in the future. Both HP Propel Jumpstart and HP Propel 1.1 give your IT the ability to satisfy your end users in their specific needs. For more information please read our blog “Open an early present”.
