HP announces the latest version of HP BSM, which provides end-to-end visibility into IT service health, powered by meaningful intelligence and analytics, helping IT increase its operational efficiency and reduce down time.

BSM 9.2 introduces "Operational Analytics” (OpsAnalytics), which provides customers the right actionable intelligence to predict and prevent problems, and to analyze and search massive amounts of data to quickly identify and diagnose issues. It combines the power of Operations Manager i (OMi), with the universal log management capabilities of Logger to prevent or resolve any incident in IT environments.

OpsAnalytics provides automatic correlation and analysis of data including machine data, logs, events, topology and performance information. It enables customers to:

· Remediate known problems before they occur with predictive analytics;

· Proactively solve unknown issues by collecting, storing and analyzing everything;

· Resolve incidents faster with search capabilities

BSM further helps customers maximize IT investments:

· Gain 360 degree visibility by aggregating data from disparate sources like MS SCOM, Nagios and IBM Tivoli into a single dashboard;

· Resolve bottlenecks and improve performance of OpenStack and Python applications with performance diagnostics;

· Detect client side performance issues to improve availability of web and mobile applications.

HP also introduces HP Virtualization Performance Viewer (vPV), a triage tool for virtualization administrators to diagnose and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in virtualized environments. Customers can download the free version of vPV to use in production for immediate value today.
