New HP Software Customer Support Forums Launched!
During
March, customers with a valid NNM or PPM support contract joined HP's Service
Manager customers and were given access to the new ‘Support Customer Forums'
located in the HP Software Solutions
Community. Service Manager customers had the opportunity to help HP test
this format during a pilot over the past 6 months and have been very pleased
with engineer engagement in this new forum. This year, HPSW will roll out this
format to other products. This forum format will provide customers who have a
valid support contract the opportunity to use a secure environment to discuss
technical issues, best practices and "how to" type questions with
other customers and with GSD Support Engineers. Their expert team of HP engineers
will be actively monitoring these forums to answer questions. HP encourages their
customers to try this method of getting help with product technical issues
rather than placing a telephone call or logging an online support ticket. For
issues accessing these forums please send an email to swcommunity@hp.com. HP looks forward to
growing this forum community!
In order to access the new ‘Support Customer Forums' customers need to have
contract details uploaded onto their HP Passport account. To do this, access Software Support Online, log in with
HP Passport account details. Select >> Edit your profile, select >>
Edit system handle/(SAIDs), input contract identifier (SAID), select Add,
contract details have now been updated and access will be given to the new
‘Support Customer Forums' located in the HP Software Solutions Community.

HP
Software Web Events
In an effort to improve the overall quality of your Web Events
experience, we will be enhancing our program over the next few months by making
the following organizational and content changes:
-
Introducing two Web Event "tracks”, IT Leaders and IT
Professionals, for our more business- and technically-focused participants
- Identify our Web Events topics as pertaining to either the
Applications- or Operations-centric audiences
- Organizing our Web Events into "Series” of theme-based,
multi-part events to more thoroughly address related topics
For example, our Web Event Track for IT Leaders who are focused
on Applications includes a five-event Series, "Accelerating Innovation Through
Application Lifecycle Management”, while the Track for IT Professionals
includes the four-event Series, "Perform Better in a Hybrid Cloud World”.
The Track for IT Leaders who are focused on Operations includes
a four-event Series, "Accelerating Innovation Through Data Center
Transformation”, while the Track for IT Professionals includes a four-event
Series, "Automating Your Hybrid Cloud World”.
-
Publishing a rolling six-month calendar, making it easier to
plan your team's participation in our Web Events
- Integrating with and utilizing the HP Software Community (
www.hp.com/go/swcommunity
),
providing members with the opportunity to:
-
Proactively ask questions that will be answered during our Live,
Interactive Web Events
- Posting answers to the questions that were asked before and
during the Web Events
- Suggest topics to be presented in future Web Events
